Poinciana, FL – In a startling turn of events during the evening rush hour, a traffic accident in Poinciana ended with an arrest following a dramatic confrontation. The incident unfolded at the intersection of Marigold Avenue and Laurel Avenue around 7:15 pm EST, drawing immediate attention from onlookers and ISC News & Media reporters who arrived swiftly at the scene.
According to officials, the collision involved two vehicles, prompting a rapid response from Polk County Fire Rescue. After a thorough examination, it was determined that there were no injuries among the parties involved, a fortunate outcome given the potential for harm.

However, the situation escalated when one of the drivers, described as a white male, was requested by Polk County Sheriff’s Office Deputies to undergo a field sobriety test. Witnesses reported that the individual reacted aggressively, resorting to yelling at the deputies and collapsing to the ground in an apparent display of distress or defiance.
