Osceola County, FL – In a proactive investigation conducted by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, a man has been arrested on charges of possessing and sharing child sexual abuse material online. The investigation led detectives to a residence on Cascades Boulevard in Kissimmee, Florida.
On February 6th, 2024, the ICAC unit carried out a search warrant at the address, targeting the suspect, Alvin Gonzalez-Lajara. The search yielded electronic devices containing explicit material involving minors. As a result of the evidence obtained during the investigation, Mr. Gonzalez-Lajara now faces ten charges of Possession of Photo/Video of Sexual Performance by a Child.
Swift action was taken by law enforcement, and the suspect was promptly taken into custody. He is currently being held without bail at the Osceola County Jail. The Sheriff’s Office sends a clear message that child abuse, especially in this egregious form, will not be tolerated.
