Jack Sweeney, a student at the University of Central Florida, has spoken out about being threatened with a lawsuit by Taylor Swift ‘s legal team.
Jack, who studies information technology, has been tracking and publicly sharing the flights of private jets owned by billionaires and celebrities, including Taylor Swift, on social media.
He runs several accounts that monitor the takeoffs and landings of these aircrafts , as well as estimating their carbon emissions. This activity has led to public outrage and legal threats from Taylor’s team.

Speaking to The Mirror , Jack said: “Firstly I’d like to clarify that my intentions are not to cause harm. In fact, I actually like some of Swift’s songs. But I believe in the importance of transparency and public information, seemingly more so than Meta.”
Jack shared the surprising fact that only Taylor’s jet tracking account was stopped while other celeb jet accounts are still going on Meta’s sites. These track stars like Kim Kardashian and big names like Donald Trump .
