Man Arrested for Attempted Car Burglaries at FL Theme Park

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – In a surprising turn of events at Walt Disney World, an Orlando man found himself under arrest after attempting to break into multiple cars at the EPCOT theme park last week. The incident, which unfolded in the bustling heart of Lake Buena Vista, Florida, has left many park visitors and locals alike shocked.

Albert Surens-Velazquez, the man at the center of this disturbance, was charged with attempted burglary following his arrest on the afternoon of February 9th. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office was quick to respond to the scene after receiving reports of a burglary in progress at one of the world’s most beloved theme parks.

According to the arrest affidavit, deputies arrived at EPCOT around noon and detained Surens-Velazquez amidst their investigation. Disney security personnel played a crucial role in the apprehension, having observed the suspect approaching multiple vehicles in the parking lot. It was reported that Surens-Velazquez was seen attempting to gain entry into, or successfully entering, three different cars parked in the Wall-E section of the lot. The vehicles involved in the incident included a red Subaru Crosstrek, a white GMC SUV, and a black Cadillac. Notably, the Subaru was identified as a Hertz rental, while the latter two are owned by Florida residents.
