An Apopka woman was arrested for battery after getting into a physical altercation in a friend’s driveway with a man on Valentine’s Day. A deputy responded to a battery complaint at an undisclosed Mount Dora residence around 9:08 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The complainant advised that 32-year-old Melissa Rachel Cruz screamed and yelled at a male victim before striking him.
