McDonald’s in Eustis, Florida, was cited for 8 violations in Lake County

Inspectors from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation discovered several infractions, including rodents, roach, and maggot issues, at McDonald’s in Eustis, Florida, during their September 11, 2024 evaluation.

The inspection produced a total of eight violations, including three classified as high-priority. While the establishment was required to undergo a follow-up assessment, it managed to comply with the necessary conditions and achieve a clean slate by September 12, 2024.

State records revealed three high-priority, one intermediate, and four basic violations during the initial inspection.

Notably, the inspectors discovered 10 maggots under the Frappe machine in the drive-thru area. Additionally, they found one live roach at the same location.

On the intermediate level, a lack of paper towels at the handwashing sink posed another issue.

Basic violations included concerns such as built-up ice in the freezer and soiled floors, among others, reflecting a need for improved cleanliness.
