Devin Perkins, one of the drivers charged in the Ali Spice crash, rejects plea offer

One of the drivers charged in a crash that killed three people, including TikTok star Ali Spice, rejected a plea offer Wednesday which called for a sentence of between 10 to 20 years in prison. Instead, Devin Perkins is set to go on trial Monday when he will face up to life in prison.

Perkins, 24, of New Smyrna Beach, was driving an Infiniti in a collision with a pickup truck Dec. 11, 2022. Thomas Petry, 55, of Orange City, was driving the pickup truck westbound in the eastbound lanes of State Road 44 east of Interstate 4 after leaving an establishment where he had been drinking in the hours before the crash, police said. Petry fled the scene after the crash.

Petry has pleaded no contest and is awaiting sentencing .

Three passengers in the Infiniti were killed: Alexandra Dulin, 21, who was also known as Ali Spice to almost a million TikTok followers; Kyle Jacob Moser, 25, of Daytona Beach; and Ava Fellerman, 20, of Treasure Island.

Perkins was driving the Infiniti at 100 mph less than two seconds before the crash, according to prosecutors.
