Bakery owners from Puerto Rico find success in Central Florida 7 years after Hurricane Maria

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A Puerto Rican family has found success with their bakery in Central Florida after Hurricane Maria forced them to start over. Owned by Kiara and Rafael Roman, their story began in 2017 when Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, destroying their successful string of bakeries. Six months later, they moved to Osceola County.
