CAPRON, Va. – A high speed police chase on Saturday on Southampton Parkway ended in a crash, an airlift to Norfolk General Hospital and criminal charges. Thierry Milien, 22, of Orlando, Florida was traveling 104 mph in a 60 mph zone near Capron, and ignored a deputy attempting to make a traffic stop. Spike strips were deployed to slow the vehicle, which were successful, but Milien kept driving, according to the Southampton County Sheriff’s office.
