TAVARES, Fla. – Hourly workers in Florida are going to see a boost in their paychecks after a minimum wage increase went into effect on Monday. Minimum wage in Florida went up a dollar, bringing it from $12 an hour to $13 for non-tipped employees and $9.98 an hour for tipped employees.
