Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash in which a 67-year-old female pedestrian was struck and killed by an SUV on Sand Lake Road at approximately 5:30 a.m. this morning. The single vehicle involved in the incident – a 2010 Ford Escape driven by a 53-year-old male – was traveling eastbound in the center lane on Sand Lake Road, west of Turkey Lake Road.
