Florida-Headquartered Iconic Restaurant Abruptly Closes Indianapolis Location

The well-known American-Italian restaurant, Buca di Beppo, has abruptly closed its location at Castleton Square in Indianapolis, signaling the latest setback for the chain amid ongoing financial struggles. A closing sign posted in the restaurant’s window thanked loyal customers for their patronage, expressing appreciation for the years of support.

“We are thankful to you, our local guests, for giving us the opportunity to serve you,” the sign read. “It’s with great appreciation and gratitude that we say thank you for all the years.”

The closure has not surprised some customers, many of whom took to social media after noticing the sign. One commenter mentioned that they were “surprised it lasted as long as it did,” while another remarked that the restaurant had “given up years ago.”

The Castleton Square location, which originally opened in 1999, closed in August along with 12 other branches across 11 states.
