A fresh addition to the shopping scene is set to bring new energy to Casselberry Exchange, a retail center in central Florida. The bustling plaza, located along U.S. Highway 17-92, is undergoing a significant change following a recent multi-million-dollar sale.
In mid-October 2024, New York-based RD Management LLC acquired Casselberry Exchange for a notable $13 million, with swift plans to breathe new life into the location. Among the most exciting news is that BJ’s Wholesale Club, a beloved membership-only retail chain, will anchor the site, catering to residents eager for new shopping options and value-focused deals.
The New Shopping Hub on the Block
Casselberry Exchange, found at 5803 S. U.S. Highway 17-92, enjoys a prime position near familiar restaurants like Chick-fil-A and City Buffet, attracting steady foot traffic from the surrounding community. However, the plaza’s retail anchor spots have sat empty for some time. Staples and Bed Bath & Beyond, which previously held prime positions within the center, have closed, leaving a void that local shoppers have felt keenly.
