A landmark moment recently took place in Kissimmee as Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County commenced the construction of their first home in the area. The groundbreaking ceremony, which happened Friday morning, marked the beginning of the annual “Home for the Holidays” build that aims to give families homeownership stability as they enter the holiday season. According to FOX 35 Orlando, the dedicated family of five who moved from New York five years ago has worked steadily to build their credit and participated in educational programs provided by Habitat for Humanity.
