Everyone has a different idea of what they consider “fun.” Some might enjoy a night out to someplace special. Others may consider peace and quiet fun. Still others like to visit attractions or special places. But most people would agree that it’s “fun” to lose yourself in an activity with a big smile on your face. The website WalletHub recently identified the “most fun” cities in America and several Florida cities made the cut.
The Study and What It Measured: Although WalletHub conceded that many different kinds of activities could be considered “fun,” it measured things like entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and affordability.
How Did Florida Fare?: Florida had a few cities that ranked very high, several cities that made the top 50, and some other cities that did not rank well at all. Florida’s “most fun” cities were:
Orlando 2
Miami 3
Fort Lauderdale 11
Tampa 17
St. Petersburg 28
Jacksonville 35
Florida’s Lowest Ranking Cities For “Fun” Were:
Port St. Lucie 128
Pembroke Pines 91
