Orlando, Florida – According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida, San’Drevious Jerome Lane, a 23-year-old from Sanford, admitted guilt to serious charges involving firearms and drug trafficking near a children’s playground, announced U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg. Lane is now facing a significant prison sentence, with potential terms ranging from six years to life. His sentencing is scheduled for March 13, 2025.

Lane’s legal troubles began with his conviction for felony offenses in 2022, after which he was released from the Florida Department of Corrections in early April 2024. Shortly after his release, on May 21, Lane was caught distributing cocaine while armed with a firearm, a serious federal offense given his felon status.

Investigators later confirmed that Lane’s fingerprints were found on the firearm used during the drug transaction. Moreover, on June 3, Lane was found selling approximately 28 grams of cocaine just a short distance from a local playground, increasing the severity of his offenses due to the location’s proximity to a sensitive area.
