6-year-old killed by drunk driver while riding bike: report

APOPKA, Fla. (WFLA) — A driver was arrested for DUI manslaughter after reportedly striking and killing a 6-year-old boy riding his bicycle over the weekend, NBC affiliate WESH said .

Francisco Rossillo Arriola, 53, is accused of running a stop sign at the intersection of Cloud Avenue and West Tahoe Street in the Rock Springs Mobile Home Park at 4:45 p.m.

Arriola, driving a Chevrolet Suburban SUV, struck the child who was riding the bike on West Tahoe Street, according to WESH.

The report said the driver was not injured, while the child was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries…
