Walk A Mile in Her Shoes: Raising Awareness for Domestic Violence Survivors in Orlando

Orange Avenue was transformed into a powerful stage for advocacy and awareness as the community came together for Walk A Mile in Her Shoes, an event dedicated to ending domestic violence. Hosted by Harbor House of Central Florida, this annual walk serves as both a fundraiser and a rallying call for critical survivor programs and services across the region.

Men and women alike stepped into high heels, blinged-out flip-flops, or sneakers to demonstrate solidarity with survivors of domestic abuse. The event is part of a larger movement inspired by Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence, a project of Venture Humanity, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
