Planet Parade in Orlando: All 7 planets can be seen in the night sky this week

Astronomy enthusiasts will be treated to an alignment of planets in the night sky this week that will look like a “parade” when viewed from Earth.

Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will all be visible in the night sky this Friday for a short window of time. In the name of celestial celebration, Seminole State College is hosting an event: The Great Planet Parade of 2025 Star Party .

The staff of the Emil Buehler Planetarium and members of the Central Florida Astronomical Society will be set up with telescopes next to the pond on the college’s Sanford/Lake Mary campus from 7-10 p.m. this Friday.
