Grand Jury Indicts Woman for Second Degree Murder After Road Rage Incident Turns Fatal

A grand jury in Orange County has indicted 47-year-old Tina Allgeo on charges of second degree murder following the fatal shooting of Mihail Tsvetkov. The indictment, handed down on Tuesday, February 25, comes after an investigation into an incident that occurred on December 2, 2024.

On that December afternoon, Orlando Police responded to a 911 call at the intersection of E. Colonial Drive and Primrose Drive. Officers arrived to find Tsvetkov suffering from a gunshot wound in the middle of the road. Investigators determined that a road rage altercation between Allgeo and Tsvetkov had escalated, culminating in Allgeo discharging her firearm.

In addition to the second degree murder charge—which specifies the use of a firearm—Allgeo is also facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. State Attorney Monique Worrell emphasized the case’s significance. “This is a case of great public importance that needed to be reviewed by the Grand Jury to determine whether the evidence supported an indictment,” she said.
