Seminole High School educator arrested on allegations of spraying water on disabled student

SANFORD, Fla. – A para-professional at Seminole High School was arrested on Friday morning after a student was sprayed with water, according to the Sanford Police Department.

In a news release, police said they were notified on Thursday about a staff member spraying water from a bottle “onto the lap area of an Exceptional Education Student” on two different occasions.

“The staff member… was observed by a juvenile witness poking a hole in the top of a water bottle and spraying the contents into the lap of a ESE student in the class he was assigned to work in,” an arrest report states…
