UCF closes 2 fraternities amid hazing allegations

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two fraternities have closed their University of Central Florida chapters amid reports of hazing incidents.

In an email sent to the Greek community on Monday, UCF addressed “serious and disturbing” hazing allegations that surfaced earlier this year.

In February, the university shared that investigations by UCF Police had substantiated allegations of hazing involving the Sigma Chi and Delta Upsilon chapters. However, due to a lack of cooperating victims, criminal charges could not be pursued…
