Budget Airline Viva Aerobus Launches New Orlando Route, Expanding Mexico City’s International Connectivity

Viva Aerobus is set to strengthen international air travel from Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) with the launch of a new non-stop route to Orlando International Airport (MCO). Beginning November 20, the new service will operate three times a week — on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays — providing travelers in the Mexico City metropolitan area with a direct, affordable connection to one of the United States’ most popular tourist destinations.

This new Orlando route is part of a broader expansion by Viva Aerobus, which includes seven new U.S. routes from AIFA, aimed at enhancing cross-border travel while offering some of the most competitive fares in the market. With this addition, Viva continues to grow its footprint at AIFA, helping the airport reach 38 total non-stop routes in 2025 — up from 29 the previous year.
