The discussion turned to the role of AI in the workplace. McCaskill reiterated a point he made during his previous appearance, warning that while AI may not take jobs today, “somebody who understands AI will definitely be in a position to take your job or be your boss.”

These are the skills that people are actually hiring for to date, the skills that they are listing on job descriptions that are must-have, non-negotiables, and AI literacy is at the top of that list.
