A Leesburg man was arrested for battery after allegedly strangling a woman and pulling her hair during an argument.
Deputies investigated a battery that occurred in the county at around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Officers with the Leesburg Police Department were already talking to subjects, one of which was later identified as 52-year-old Christopher Michael Condra, and found the incident happened at 7617 Frog Log Lane.
One of the deputies spoke to Condra who stated the female victim was yelling and acting irrational while at the residence. He was packing her things into his vehicle to take her back to Ocala. When he picked up her duffel bag to put in the vehicle, she started swatting at him, the report said.
Condra brought the bag up between them to keep the victim from hitting him and just let go of the bag. The bag knocked her to the ground, and he picked it back up to put in the vehicle, the report said…
