ORLANDO, Fla. – The man arrested in the 2024 shooting death of 30-year-old David Alexzander Sligh has been given a 50-year sentence, according to the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
Nicholas Carrasquillo, now 27, was sentenced Thursday to 50 years for second-degree murder and 15 years for shooting at an occupied vehicle, a spokesperson for the Ninth Judicial Circuit said in a statement. The sentences will be served concurrently, i.e. 50 years in total, the statement reads.
