Search kicks off after bronze statue disappears in downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Police Department is asking the public for help after a bronze eagle statue disappeared from downtown Orlando last month.

In a release, police said the statue was taken during a break-in at a law firm owned by a “well-respected attorney who recently passed away.”

The theft occurred near East Pine Street and South Court Avenue, and the statue was last seen on April 19, the release reveals…
