SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Two of the men accused in a deadly shooting outside a Sanford Best Buy late last year have made plea deals, while the third suspect will stand trial, court documents show.
Khalil Hunter, 22; James Nelson III, 22; and Shunavious Dorsey, 21, were arrested in connection with the Dec. 17 shooting, which killed 21-year-old Terance Pope Jr.
Pope had arranged to meet up in the store’s parking lot with the expectation that Hunter and Dorsey would buy two iPhones at a nearby Verizon store and sell them to him for cash, the 18th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office said in a news release…
