A Sanford woman was arrested after allegedly forcing her way into his residence to retrieve items she claimed he stole from her.
A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call at an undisclosed Lake County residence at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, he met with the male victim who reported a theft involving his ex-girlfriend, 26-year-old Destiny Brown. She came to his residence claiming he had taken some of her belongings, leading to a verbal argument turned physical.
The victim explained that Brown approached the front door and began speaking with him. During the conversation, he tried to close the door, but she forcefully grabbed the door handle to prevent it from shutting. She then tried to enter the home, the report said.
As Brown forced her way into the residence, the victim stepped away from the door. She proceeded to come in without permission. He tried to retreat to his bedroom, but she followed and forced her way inside, the report said…
