SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Seven people, including six children, were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after an SUV veered off Gateway Drive and crashed into a tree, according to Seminole County Fire Department officials.
The crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. along a curved section of the roadway near Gateway Drive and Keller Road. A white Ford SUV appeared to have lost control and struck a tree off the side of the road.
Emergency crews say the children involved range in age from 3 to 13 years old. At least three of the children suffered serious injuries, and the adult driver was transported as a trauma alert. A child’s car seat could be seen inside the SUV at the scene…
