Several Dogs Perish in Devastating Shed Fire in Altamonte Springs, Seminole County

Early this morning, tragedy struck in the neighborhood of Altamonte Springs in Seminole County, Florida, as a fire erupted, destroying two sheds and taking the lives of several dogs contained within one of them, Seminole County Fire Department officials said units responded around 2:59 a.m. to the 2610 block of Ohio Avenue, they found the sheds ablaze with the fire situated between residential properties. However, no damage to the nearby homes was reported, according to WFTV.

The fire department spokesperson stated, “One of the sheds contained multiple dogs, all of which are deceased,” the confirmation on the number of animals lost has not yet been rendered public, as responders continue to clear the scene and carry forward their investigation, the flames were successfully contained preventing any spread to the adjacent houses and no injuries to civilians or firefighters were recorded at the time, this information was corroborated by a report from ClickOrlando…
