ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Health’s newly expanded Digestive Health Institute unveiled artificial intelligence (AI) technology for early pancreatic cancer detection.
Pancreatic cancer is known to have a low survival rate due to late diagnosis, making it the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths.
According to PANCAN.org, more than 66,000 Americans were projected to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, with more than 51,000 of those Americans projected to die from the disease.
