Orlando Felon Pleads Guilty to Illegal Possession of 17 Firearms, Faces Up to 15 Years in Prison

An Orlando man with a history of felony has entered a guilty plea for unlawfully having a cache of 17 firearms in his residence, potentially landing him a significant period behind bars. Latchman Singh, 31, faces up to 15 years in federal prison following his admission to the charge, as stated by federal prosecutors yesterday.

Officials were executing a search warrant at Singh’s home regarding a state-level auto theft investigation when they stumbled upon the firearms stash scattered in his closet, bedroom, and kitchen. According to Orlando-News, the cache included weapons that had been reported stolen, one that lacked a serial number, and another modified to quietly discharge its rounds, equipped with a silencer.

Due to his prior convictions, Singh was already barred under federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition. FOX 35 Orlando reported that Singh has agreed to forfeit all the weapons and ammunition recovered during the search…
