A Clermont man was arrested after allegedly attacking his girlfriend who came back from a night out and asked about his drinking problem.
A deputy responded to a domestic battery at a residence in Clermont at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The girlfriend of 28-year-old Ramon Quinones stated they got into a physical altercation.
She explained that the argument started when she came back from being out with friends, and Quinones yelled about how she was never home. She questioned him about his drinking, to which he stated he drank an entire bottle of Smirnoff vodka. He became enraged and pushed her against the front door of their home, the report said.
He then grabbed the side of her neck and pinned her to the door. He never stopped her from breathing, only used his hand to hold her against the door. She tried to push him off herself but could not. He ultimately released her, and they separated. She sustained red marks on the right side of her neck, the report said…
