Leesburg woman grabs crowbar to bust into ex-boyfriend’s house

A Leesburg woman was arrested after allegedly punching through a window to get inside her ex-boyfriend’s house and hit him with a crowbar.

A deputy responded to a battery with a weapon complaint at an undisclosed Lake County residence at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, he met with the recent ex-boyfriend of 61-year-old Annette Marie Krupnicka.

An argument had begun the night before when she came into his sunroom from the back of the residence. She tried to open the door that led to the main area of the home, but he told her she could not come in. In retaliation, she grabbed a crowbar from a shelf in the sunroom and punched the window to the door, the report said.

Krupnicka slipped her hand through the broken glass to unlock the door from the inside. Her ex-boyfriend tried to wedge himself between her and the entry, but she pushed the door and came inside. They continued to argue, and he told her to leave numerous times, the report said…
