Creepy customer leaves cologne-soaked card and chocolates for clerk at Wawa

A creepy customer has been arrested on a warrant after repeatedly leaving inappropriate cards on the car of a Wawa employee.

On July 2, an officer with the Clermont Police Department learned that an employee at Wawa, located at 1909 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, was getting harassed by a customer, according to an affidavit of probable cause out of Lake County. This customer, later identified as 63-year-old Allen William Raymond of Jacksonville, had been trespassed from the business on June 10 but continued coming back to leave cards and chocolates on the employee’s vehicle in the parking lot.

The manager of the business advised that Raymond was known to the employees due to his regular presence there. He repeatedly came to the parking lot after being trespassed in June for loitering and inappropriate behavior toward the employee. At the time, officers spoke with him in the parking lot in a white 2023 Honda Accord, the affidavit said.

The manager kept a watchful eye out for Raymond’s odd behavior and made sure he was not on the property. The employee was working at the time and was afraid to go out to her vehicle, which she had moved from the back of the business to the side so it would be in view of all the employees. She then led the officer inside to speak with the employee about completing a report for the incidents that happened since June 10, the affidavit said…
