OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A local family is outraged and demanding answers after 31-year-old Derik Bonet Rodriguez died following a confrontation with Osceola County deputies early Sunday morning, during which he was shocked with a Taser.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, a patrol deputy saw Bonet Rodriguez running in and out of traffic in the westbound lanes of North Main Street near Vine Street around 6:30 a.m. in Kissimmee.
