The Apopka Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who, on May 19, 2025, burglarized a vehicle in the Ponkan Road and Keyworth Street area, used a stolen garage door opener to enter an occupied home, and fled on foot after being confronted by the homeowner. APD Sgt. Kim Walsh sent the following release:
On Monday, May 19th, 2025, the subject (pictured below) burglarized a vehicle, accessing the garage door opener, and entered an occupied residence in the Ponkan Road/ Keyworth Street area of Apopka. Once confronted by the homeowner, the subject fled on foot.
