FHP ride-along shows how law enforcement is combatting super speeders

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida’s new Super Speeder Law has been in effect since July 1 and gives harsher penalties to those driving 50 miles over the speed limit or more than 100 miles per hour.

Since the law went into effect, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has made three super speeder arrests with drivers going well over 100 miles per hour.
