Heat Advisory in Effect

According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, the advisory covers cities like Daytona Beach, Orlando, Kissimmee, Titusville, and Melbourne, warning of oppressive humidity and soaring temperatures.

Heat index values will peak between 108°F and 110°F in Orlando, Sanford, Altamonte Springs, and Apopka, while areas like Brevard County (including Titusville, Cocoa, Rockledge, and Palm Bay) will experience heat indices from 104°F to 108°F.
