Orlando Man Pleaded Guilty to Selling Machine Guns

An Orlando man recently pleaded guilty to selling machine guns.

United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe recently announced that 26-year-old Omar Joel Rivera Olivo, of Orlando, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing and transferring machine guns.

According to the plea agreement, Rivera Olivo engaged in eight sales of drugs and guns, including automatic weapons, to an undercover law enforcement officer – initially selling cocaine and marijuana before selling firearms.

On March 13 and March 28, 2025, Rivera Olivo sold four firearms, some of which had been modified to be fully automatic weapons, along with multiple devices to convert firearms into fully automatic weapons…
