People’s Free Kitchen launched a new volunteer program to supplement its efforts to feed those in the community.
The local nonprofit organization, which distributes meals every week to those experiencing homelessness or in need, introduced its Side Dish Program in July to allow more people to get involved with the weekly food assistance initiative.
The new program provides flexibility for those unable to commit to a weekly cooking shift, but still want to contribute to the organization’s mission, according to the organization’s Instagram.
