A band member was arrested after a performance at Lake Sumter Landing.
Troy Dolendo, 52, of Orlando, was driving a blue Kia SUV when he ran a red light at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday at Canal Street and Old Mill Run near Market Square, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Dolendo is a musician and had performed on keyboard early that night with the band Osaka Fall. His resume touts performances on cruise ships and at Walt Disney World.
A deputy initiated a traffic stop and asked Dolendo for his driver’s license. He instead handed over an ID card. The deputy asked if he aware of his license being suspended, to which he stated he knew. Dolendo stated he was driving his wife’s car because she did not feel well, the report said. His wife also performs with Osaka Fall.
A criminal history check later revealed he had one prior guilty convictions for driving while license suspended on Nov. 23, 2005, in Orange County, the report said…
