The Kissimmee Police Department has arrested 10 individuals following a two-month operation aimed at disrupting narcotics activity near Cypress Street and Main Street, an area commonly known as “The Wall.” The initiative focused on alleged street-level sales of fentanyl and cocaine occurring behind a commercial retail plaza in North Kissimmee and in proximity to schools and daycares.
Working with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, KPD’s Tactical Police Unit and Patrol Division conducted undercover surveillance and coordinated arrests. Most suspects face felony charges for sales or delivery of controlled substances within 1,000 feet of protected areas such as schools—offenses that carry enhanced penalties, including mandatory minimum prison sentences under Florida law.
