A Clermont man was who was arrested for disorderly intoxication threatened to shoot the deputies who apprehended him at Taco Bell.
A deputy responded to Taco Bell, located at 526 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, regarding a shirtless 32-year-old Lucious Jermone Woodard giving a minor alcohol and kicking cars around 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputy found Woodard walking behind the restaurant. At the sight of law enforcement, he ran the opposite way despite being commanded multiple times to stop. He continued toward the highway where he was apprehended and taken to the ground to be handcuffed, the report said.
A witness advised that he was across the highway when he saw Woodard give a minor an alcoholic drink. The minor looked to be 11 years old, so out of concern, he approached Woodard and asked why he was giving the juvenile alcohol.
