Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is now accepting applications for its Culinary Training Program, a no-cost, 16-week continuing education course that equips adults with the skills needed for entry-level positions in the food service industry.
Launched in 2013, the program has already graduated more than 525 students, many of whom have gone on to build careers in Central Florida’s hospitality sector. Participants gain hands-on kitchen training, life coaching, and job readiness support. Graduates also receive a culinary diploma, chef coat, professional knife set, and ongoing job placement assistance, including one year of follow-up support after completing the program.
The next session runs from September 15 through January 2, 2026. Classes will take place Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, located at 411 Mercy Drive in Orlando…
