A woman from Uzbekistan was given a notice to appear for allegedly putting 13 grocery items in her bag without paying for them at Walmart.
A deputy responded to Walmart, located at 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, for a shoplifting incident involving 27-year-old Anna Larechenko around 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, according to a case report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon arrival, he met with an asset protection associate who stated Larechenko put 13 items in her bag without scanning them. These included baby food, ribs and other groceries valued at $40.40.
