H Mart Orlando opening: First Florida store launches Sept. 25

H Mart, the largest Asian supermarket chain in the United States, will open its first Florida location in Orlando on September 25. The store marks the company’s long-awaited entry into the state, arriving four years after H Mart first announced plans to expand into the region in 2021.

The new store will be located at 7501 W. Colonial Drive in Westland Terrace Plaza, occupying the former site of a Target. At more than 100,000 square feet, equivalent to about 1.3 soccer fields, the Orlando location will stand among the largest H Mart stores nationwide.

At the heart of the Orlando store will be its K-Food hall, designed as both a dining destination and cultural showcase. Rather than simply offering groceries, the food court introduces customers to a wide range of Korean and Asian flavors under one roof.

Among the featured restaurants is MyungGa, known for its authentic Korean home-style dishes. Jaws Tteokbokki will bring the taste of Seoul’s bustling street food scene, while Yucheon offers refreshing bowls of Korean cold noodles. For those seeking trendy snacks, OK Dog will serve hand-crafted Korean-style hot dogs, and Chidon will present crispy Japanese-inspired pork cutlets…
