Over Two Dozen Residents Displaced Following Electrical Fire in St. Cloud Apartment Building

A Sunday evening blaze at a St. Cloud apartment building has left several residents without a home. As reported by WFTV, the fire, which occurred along Minnesota Avenue near 7th Street, has resulted in more than two dozen individuals being displaced. In the aftermath of the incident, power was cut to the affected building by the Orlando Utilities Commission due to concerns stemming from the fire’s impact on insulation materials.

According to FOX 35 Orlando, the St. Cloud Fire Rescue Department responded to the reported fire just before 6 p.m., which officials later described as being electrical in nature. Despite no structural damage or injuries, the necessity of cutting power left dozens in the dark, including 26 adults and an infant who were all displaced by the event.
