If you love saving money on Disney merchandise, then there’s ONE store you need to go to, and it’s right in the Orlando area!
Primark is a chain of stores that’s similar to ALDI in a way — it has a website to show you what kind of merchandise they sell, but you have to go to an in-person store to shop for all the Disney items they sell (usually at AMAZING prices). While this store doesn’t just sell Disney merchandise, the current location in Orlando has a whole FLOOR dedicated to Disney items, but now there will be even MORE to explore, because a second Primark location is coming to Orlando!
The Orlando Business Journal has reported that the Ireland-based company has announced plans to open a second store in the Orlando area, just about a year after the first opened at The Florida Mall. Primark revealed that they’ve signed a lease for a location in the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets shopping center, which is located less than 10 minutes from Disney World property!
Primark is adding a total of 18 new locations across the U.S., including a location in Tampa. In a prepared statement, President of Primark U.S. Kevin Tulip, said, “Primark came to the United States a decade ago, very deliberate in our approach, testing and learning to ensure that as we continued to expand our footprint in-market…To say we’re thrilled with the success we’ve seen in the U.S. to date is an understatement.”
Primark focuses on selling affordable clothing for women, men, and children, as well as home goods and beauty products — their target audience is individuals looking for a bargain (HELLO, that’s us!). At this time, there’s no opening timeline for this new store; however, this does mean that there will be TWO discount Disney stores in the same shopping district, as one of the Disney Character Warehouses is also located in the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets.
